Target continues to take the LONG TERM approach for success and is closing 13 underperforming stores in 2016 according the the Minneapolis Saint Paul Business Journal. My assumption is these closings will allow Target to recalibrate its focus on fast growing smaller format stores in urban areas throughout the US for a true growth story.
